Issues with in-app purchase

We're sorry if you're having problems with In-app purchase with Spot the Difference! 2. Please try the following troubleshooting steps.

What happens after you click "Buy Pack"?

       

  • You get an alert "Purchase Error, Failed to make a purchase."
         

    • Check Settings>General>Parental Restrictions and ensure that In-App Purchase is not disabled
  •    

  • You get an alert, "In-App-Purchase Error: There was an error purchasing this item please try again." or "This is not a Test User account. Please create a new account in the Sandbox environment. [Environment Sandbox]"
         

    • This may happen if you have a "jailbroken" phone. Try restoring your device.
  •    

  • Nothing happens
         

    • Wait, sometimes it can take a few seconds to connect to the App Store
    •    

    • Check your Internet connection and try again
    •    

    • Check you are able to make purchases in other apps. If not, verify your payment settings with Apple.
    •    

    • Try the purchase again, you won't be charged twice
  •    

  • You get an alert to buy the pack, but then nothing happens
         

    • Wait, sometimes it can take a few seconds to connect to the App Store
    •    

    • Check you are able to make purchases in other apps. If not, verify your payment settings with Apple.
    •    

    • Try the purchase again, you won't be charged twice
  •    

  • You successfully purchase apack, but it doesn't download
         

    • Try the purchase again, you won't be charged twice
    •    

    • Try the purchase again when you are in an area with WiFi
    •    

    • Can you view this page? (it should say 'You are able to access the STD static server')
    •    

    • Can you view this page? (it should say 'You are able to access the STD dynamic server') If you are not able to view these pages, the downloads will fail.

If all else fails:

       

  • Delete the app, reinstall and try the purchase again, you won't be charged twice

  1. When I try to purchase anything it says ” Failed to make purchase. Please check your internet connection.” But my Internet connection was working properly.
